Softshell or puffer for outdoor staff?
Softshell for all-day wear with wind and light rain, because it breathes and stretches. Puffer for warmth in genuinely cold conditions. Softshell is the safer single choice for a mixed team.
Is the jacket waterproof or water resistant?
Water resistant sheds light rain for a period. Waterproof uses a membrane and sealed seams to hold out sustained rain. If staff work outside in weather rather than getting caught in it, specify waterproof.
Can you embroider a waterproof jacket without affecting it?
Embroidery perforates the membrane at the branding position. We use a patch, a lined section or a heat transfer instead so the waterproofing stays intact. Tell us the jacket needs to stay waterproof when you brief the order.
What size should we order if the jacket goes over a uniform?
Size up from the wearer's shirt size to allow for the base layer. A jacket sized to a shirt will pull across the back once it is layered.
What is the minimum order for branded jackets?
Minimum order quantities vary by style. We are set up for bulk and repeat orders rather than one-off purchases, and unit pricing improves as quantity rises.
Can we order a sample first?
Yes, and on jackets it is the item most worth doing. The unit cost is high enough that a sizing or colour error is expensive to fix after production.
